Hello, my name is Peter Boakye. I'm a Ghanaian photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a growing portfolio of portraits, events, and cultural photography. Since picking up the camera back in June 2024, I’ve found photography to be more than just a hobby — it’s become an outlet for expression and a way to tell stories that matter.
I capture a range of moments, from graduations and African traditional weddings/engagements to portraits, church events, and even the occasional street session. Whether spontaneous, in the moment, or carefully planned, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel timeless and meaningful. I might expand to weddings, but we'll see.
Through my work, I hope to share stories of culture, faith, and everyday life, and to build photographs that people can look back on with pride and joy. I’m committed to growing as a photographer and continuing to develop my craft, one shoot at a time.
